Sunlight // Screenlight plays on that "great" legacy of art history, the window in painting, often referred to as the "Window on the World". For the past two years, in the midst of a global pandemic, the view outside has been a luxury, sometimes reduced, sometimes non-existent. The world outside our walls seemed like a mirage. Windows on the world became our computers, programmed, conditioned, "algorythmed" openings on a digital world, like new representations.
Here, two spaces are juxtaposed like two open realities, at once draping and blurring a view of an unreal distance.
